What is deferred-life syndrome?

The syndrome or neurosis of postponed life is a condition of a person when he constantly lacks something to feel happy. He lives in constant anticipation of some event. In this case, the person does not enjoy the present, but is stuck thinking about the future.

Signs of Deferred Life Syndrome:
Living in anticipation of something: the end of the work day, a weekend, a vacation, a New Year's vacation.
To feel happy, you always lack something: to lose a few extra pounds, change your closet, quit your job, move to another apartment or country.
You live in anticipation of the right time: when you get higher education, move away from your parents, have children, close the mortgage or loan.
You're not excited about the present-you don't appreciate what you have.
You don't have a clear plan for what, when and how to change. For example, you don't like your current job, but you do nothing to find another one.
You are constantly comparing your own life with other people's - fixating on the fact that someone is slimmer or more successful, travels more often, earns more. All comparisons go against you.
