Texas and Mexico Border State Strike Deal to Police Illegal Migrant Crossings
Greg Abbott is doing more to secure the border than the Biden admin, securing a promise from Nuevo León’s governor to deploy his own police to the region.
“Our 14-kilometer border with Texas be continuously patrolled by our police,” Samuel Alejandro Garcia Sepulveda told the Republican state leader.
For Sepulveda’s cooperation, Abbott assured the State of Nuevo León he’ll cancel some of the enhanced commercial traffic inspections which had clogged some ports of entry into Texas.
