Russia Threatens to Deploy HYPERSONIC Missiles to European Exclave if Sweden & Finland Join NATO
A close ally of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin warned the alliance that if the two Scandinavian countries joined NATO Moscow could deploy hypersonic weaponry to Kaliningrad.
Dmitri Medvedev, who was Russia’s president from 2008 to 2012, also said there could be no more talk of a “nuclear free” Baltic, where Kaliningrad is sandwiched between Poland and Lithuania.
Medvedev urged both Sweden and Finland to reconsider joining NATO, otherwise live with the knowledge nuclear and hypersonic weapons are close to home.
