While there's an alleged Twitter mass exodus, at least one of the billionaire’s other companies doesn’t seem to be doing so hot either. Tesla has entered a new hiring freeze, and plans to lay off an unspecified number of staff, according to reports.

Back in June, Tesla announced an earlier “hiring pause” and forecast 10% staff cuts based on Musk’s “super bad feeling” about the economy. Following those reports, the company laid off 200 employees working on in its Autopilot advanced driver assistance feature in San Mateo, California.

Maybe staff can be fired based on Twitter polls?

Democratic Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams' campaign rented an extravagant home as a “hype house” backdrop for making TikToks before running out of cash.

Abrams’ campaign now faces about $1 million in debt despite raising more than $100 million for the 2022 gubernatorial race. This is as Abrams outraised her rival, Gov. Brian Kemp, by $8 million and lost by nine points.

“It’s incredibly bad planning, and it shows where their values are at,” a Democrat official said.

The hype house, which is currently listed for $12,500 per month, sat largely vacant throughout the campaign.
