French Renault is transferring its assets in Russia to the city of Moscow and the government of the Russian Federation.

According to the Mayor of Moscow car production will be continued on the plant under the revived brand ‘Moskvich’.

The government will take over Renault’s shares in AVTOVAZ, which will continue to service Renault cars in Russia.
