As they made their way, the lady's attention was drawn to an elderly man who was walking slowly, struggling to reach the other side before the pedestrian light turned red. After ensuring her daughter's safety on the opposite side, the lady swiftly turned back to offer aid to the elderly man. Despite his ongoing journey, a vehicle turning right impatiently honked at him, disregarding the fact that he was still crossing the road after the pedestrian light had already changed.
The insensitivity and lack of consideration displayed by the driver left a heavy heart. However, the lady's act of kindness, in going back to assist the elderly man, serves as a poignant reminder of the enduring power of compassion and empathy in our daily lives.

2023-05-22 06:39:08 On May 17, Master Warrant Officer (MWO) William Nadan, who was on his way for a lunch break when he came across a senior citizen lying on the traffic walkway. Her bicycle, which was loaded with groceries, had fallen down. Next to her, an elderly gentleman was struggling to move her away from the road.
Acting instinctively, the Commando sprang into action and took control of the situation. MWO William quickly got out of his car and helped move her onto the pavement to prevent any further harm.
MWO William didn't leave the scene until she was well enough to return home safely with her companion.
We commend MWO William for his actions and express our gratitude for his responsible citizenship.
