'If Putin comes to Western Cape, we will arrest him,' says WC premier Alan Winde

The premier of the Democratic Alliance-run Western Cape, Alan Winde, said in a statement on Thursday morning that if Russian President Vladimir Putin comes to the province of the Western Cape, Law Enforcement Advancement Plan (LEAP) officers will be instructed to arrest him.

LEAP officers are a provincial police force funded by the Western Cape government.
