India has signed a project agreement with the US Department of Defense for air-launched unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to India's defence ministry, the agreement was signed on 30 July as part of the Defence Technology and Trade Initiative which has been described as "a significant step towards deepening defence technology cooperation between India and the US".
