2021-01-28 13:22:29 To import your chat history from WhatsApp - open a 3 dot menu on the WahtsApp chat menu - click on Export Chat button - select Telegram Beta in the popup window - select the chat or a group on Telegram where you want to import your chat history.

On some devices (tested on Samsung Note 10+, Android 11) this export will send an archive of the chat (means that it is not supported yet) while on others (tested on Google Pixel XL2, Android 11) it will extract the history to the chat on Telegram (as it should work).

2021-01-28 13:14:13 Telegram beta got updated to version 7.4.0. The update supposes to come with an option to import chats from other messengers (like WhatsApp) and more. Currently, this feature isn't working on every device properly due to a different ways to handle export intents.
