Devotional of the Day

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are God's children. Romans 8:13-14

This word is wonderful, for, in addition to directing us how we should walk to have eternal life, it also testifies that those who are led by the Spirit are children of God. Hallelujah. How wonderful it is to be called a son by God himself! Let's let the Holy Spirit guide us, and renounce all carnal desire, all attachment to the things of this world.

Prayer: God thank you that I have the privilege of being able to be called Your child. I surrender my life, so that it may be guided by the Holy Spirit. I hope every day, to be more at the center of your will. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
