Mike Rowe really makes some truths I didn't really think about | Tales of a Libertarian

Mike Rowe really makes some truths I didn't really think about...

1. By deeming things essential, you call other jobs non-essential.
You're devaluing people, their work, their trade, and the services they offer which they find essential for taking care of themselves and their family.

2. Why does a politician get to deem who is essential and not? You think if there was one non-essential work it would be being a politician.

3. If the sentiment "if we can just save one life" were true, the speed limit would be 10mph, cars would be made out of rubber, and there would be no left turns.
To hinder lives to save others only are true when the ones deciding are they themselves not inconvenienced by it.
