Chains - The occult, the evil/demonic force behind the "elites" that always remains hidden. The cat witnessed what was going on under the table, so it disappeared without a trace.
In the end, the same force that raised both will rule in the eternal cycle as well.
Crucially, the finale will show how the cats, separated by two colors, will transform into one powerful force-a very symbolic moment.
