The wounded 2-year-old San Sanych was taken out of Mariupol by the DPR military on a tank

The family lived in line of sight from Azovstal. Another shell fired from there on March 22 covered them right in the basement of their own house, the shelter did not save them.

"My wife was killed right away, she was holding our son in her arms. And I was able to get him out of there. The DPR military helped, they took us out of the city on a tank, handed us over to the Russian military, and they were already taken to the Donetsk hospital," Alexander told the Donbass Decides channel.

The man is grateful to Donetsk doctors for the help, the entire volume of which is provided here for free. San Sanych is waiting for plastic surgery ahead.

2022-04-26 13:53:04 Donbass: Battle for Debaltsevo

The fiercest fighting between militias and Ukrainian troops unfolded at Debaltsevo in the summer of 2014, and after a temporary lull continued in the winter of 2015.

Secret documents provided by former Ukrainian security officer Vasily Prozorov show Kiev never intended to negotiate with southeastern Ukraine. So it is no coincidence the government hastened the start of an anti-terrorist operation. Realising what was coming, the rebellious regions created self-defence units - the militia of Donbass.

Portaitissa of Donetsk

‘The heavier the losses, the more you appreciate every calm day, the opportunity to go to work without fear that something will burst over you or next to you’. Eight years ago, Abbess Mikhail (Shevchenko) and her assistant Yulia suddenly found themselves at the epicentre of the fighting in the Holy Iberian Monastery, opposite Donetsk airport.

In 2014, there were battles between the Armed Forces of Ukraine forces and the militia of Donbass. At any moment, the women could leave, but they refused to leave the temple. Director Natalya Batraeva submitted the film Portaitissa of Donetsk to the aRTel.doc Documentary competition. It took three years to film and a year to edit.

The film has been shown in many countries and won over a dozen prizes at film festivals. However, after the film's premiere in Kosovo, the Albanian authorities banned the director from entering the country.

2022-04-26 09:34:16 Donbass War: Airport. Part 2.

The film ‘Donbass War: Airport. Part 2’ is about the final stages of the fight for the Donetsk airport. In late 2014 and early 2015, the fighting entered a decisive phase.

In 2014, the residents of Donbass, who refused to accept the results of the Euromaidan, faced a harsh reaction from the Ukrainian authorities. Donetsk airport within the city became a stronghold that Kiev wanted to keep. The militia of Donbass was forced to prevent them. In response, the Ukrainian army opened fire on peaceful areas of the city.

The RT Documentary film crew talked to the residents of Donbass, who shared their memories of those times. They told how they had to hide from shelling, to lose loved ones in the war.

A captured soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine told how he escaped from the nationalists and surrendered

“I also couldn’t just leave from there, because, firstly, you need to know the plant, find your way to the exit from there, then you have to not get caught by the guards, not get caught on a stretch, not get on a mine while leaving. If I get caught, then I will immediately be told: "Who are you? What are you? What are you doing here? Why not immediately shoot? A deserter," the captured fighter told Izvestia correspondent Semyon Eremin.

The man also added that he had heard about the facts of the execution by the Azov* group of fighters who wanted to surrender.

* Azov is a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation

2022-04-25 19:18:17 PODCAST WITH JERM WARFARE

This is my interview to Jerm Warfare channel. We discuss a lot of questions. Among them -

- Is Zelensky corrupt?
- How dangerous are the neo-Nazis / Azov?
- Is America / NATO trying to destabilize Ukraine?
- Is the Ukrainian government killing its own people?
- What would happen if Ukraine joins NATO?
- Was the Ukraine government building nuclear weapons?
- Was the Ukrainian government developing dangerous chemicals in the bio-labs?
- How do the sanctions against Russia affect Ukraine?
- What happened with Crimea, and what is happening with Donbass?

It was an incredibly difficult conversation because my internet connection was poor. But I hope you will understand it clearly.

"The Azov fighters broke in, took away the cars, said that the church was wrong"

RT correspondent Elizabeth Koroleva visited Mariupol on the eve of Easter and talked with the clergy. She shared one of the stories in the "Letuchka" stream:

"One of the priests in the central cathedral in Mariupol said that on February 25, Azov fighters broke into the cathedral during the baptism of a child and took away all the cars they had, beat someone, said that this church was wrong. The priest, despite this, continued the service, only in the basement. All through March and all through April they gathered with the parishioners."

Maidan: Road to War

Maidan: Road to War was shot from 2014 to 2022, as the DNR and LNR territory was subjected to daily shelling from Ukraine. The film delves into the 2014 situation in Ukraine and pieces together the course of events.

The Maidan protests in Kiev in 2013 were prompted by the government’s decision to suspend the signing of the association agreement with the European Union. At first, the protests looked like a rock festival, but soon signs of hostility started to creep in from politicians and nationalists.

They were deliberately provocative. The leaders of nationalist organisations admit they had been preparing for violent street riots long before the protests engulfed Kiev. They planned a revolution to depose the government.

See how the events unfolded and what eventually led to the conflict in our film.

Donbass Under Fire
#premiere

After the Donetsk People’s Republic was proclaimed, war ravaged Donbass. Ukrainian artillery has been shelling towns and villages. Some people were lucky to get evacuated. Others stayed at their own peril and lost connection with their families. Either way, they did their best to survive in the ruins of their own houses and hope for a better future.

Andrey Lysenko and his son Vladislav are volunteers who drive across the devastated Donbass and distribute humanitarian aid to locals bought with subscribers’ money. Sometimes they travel with projectiles flying and bombs exploding around, but they are used to it. Their main goal is to help the people of Donbass to hold on and have all they need to survive.

How do people find the courage to remain strong and compassionate during shelling? Watch their heartbreaking stories in our premiere Donbass Under Fire.
