USAF Over Vietnam III
An AC-130A Spectre of the 16th Special Operations Squadron, 14th Special Operations Wing sits in a revetment at Nha Trang Air Base, RVN, circa 1970. Most all AC-130 missions took place at night and as a result they received a special variation of the SEA camouflage scheme. The underside and vertical stabilizer were painted flat black with only the upper surfaces still displaying the tricolor camo.
