The “Pugachevites” used a medal from the time of Elizabeth Petrovna - “To the Victor over the Prussians”.
She refers to the huge number of German and Prussian officers in the Romanov army (Prussians of Holstein-Gottorp).
Interestingly, Voltaire wrote that Pugachev was financed not by England, but by the King of China (Chinese Tartaria - Manchuria), or the King of Persia (Independent Tartaria) or the Great Mogul.
