That feel when countries that Russia liberated or participated in liberation of them from their arch-enemies behave mean and unthankful and only conjure feelings of disgust and pity, whereas your historical enemy (Turkey) at least deserves some respect.

But logically it's quite explainable. Their population can largely support Russia or be divided in their opinions, unlike their governments who unanimously support their overseas lords (however who told you that the Turks don't largely support Russia?), but: all these countries have no historical tradition of governance, unlike Turkey, oh, sorry - Türkiye - that's why they are so easily governed in hand-mode by others.
That's why it's basically easier for Rossiya to make deals with Türkiye, than to look after all those dwarfs...
