Of the most important things that Boris Johnson said following his visit to Kiev:

Any negotiations about the future of Ukraine will begin when the Ukrainian authorities fully control the entire territory of the country.
All security guarantees will be provided to Ukraine in full only when there are no Russian troops on its territory

Translation:
1. We need a total war and a complete destruction of Ukraine (in case Ukraine doesn't give up no matter how successfully Russia advances) or a trench war with hundreds of thousands of dead (if Russian advancements stalls badly).
2. We have zero obligations to Ukraine and owe you nothing, just keep fighting.

My take:
So typically Anglo-Saxon. Guess who should be cancelled in the first place. And you know what - as a linguist I'm so pissed off we need to discuss all this in their language, which is by the way one of the most inconsequent, chaotic, eclectic, illogical languages I've ever studied or researched about. And I studied many, trust me.
One thing the human kind needs as much as free education and medicine for everyone disregarding the social background or race/ethnicity, is a common international language, maybe constructed/planned (but not any of readily available like Esperanto). And English is arguably the worst language we could only have for the purpose of international communication.
