Windows Phone, Symbian and legacy BlackBerry OS have no current official Telegram client. An old installer may no longer connect. Telegram Web also needs a compatible modern browser: it is not a guaranteed solution for an old phone. Use a supported device.
Requirements change: check the official download page for your system and processor. Support for an old operating system and Telegram compatibility are separate matters.

Is Telegram free?
Core messaging is free; Telegram also offers optional paid features. Cloud chats sync across devices, while Secret Chats stay on their original devices.
What if the login code does not arrive?
Check your number, active Telegram sessions and the instructions on screen. Delivery methods and waiting periods vary; do not assume an SMS will always be sent.
How do I update the app?
Use the same official source you installed from, or the app’s built-in updater. Avoid modified installers and third-party update links.
