My Tools as a Solo Entrepreneur
When launching a new product, I aim to minimize the time spent on its creation and launch.
To achieve this, I use tools and resources that allow for quick execution.
In the process, I create internal drafts, documentation, scripts, and instructions that I optimize with each new launch.
Services and Solutions I Use:
Canva. Allows me to create a logo for a new product in minutes. It has an AI generator. In Canva, I can quickly make previews for social media posts and articles. It allows screen recording. Sometimes, I create GIF animations and short videos for posts.
Telegram. I use it for communicating with my audience. When launching new products on ProductHunt, Telegram channels help gather votes on ProductHunt. I run my own Telegram channels.
Telegram Ads. For promoting and testing new products and hypotheses. I order ads on niche channels to attract new audiences to my channels.
Twitter. Works well for joining the community. Twitter algorithms help my posts go viral by interest, thus promoting my products. I use it for networking and to follow other entrepreneurs in the market. It helps me get advice and track global trends.
LinkedIn. I try to develop this social network. It's useful for launching on ProductHunt, forming a community, and networking. People from the community support voting on ProductHunt in personal messages.
СhatGPT. To check English grammar or proofread text for errors and typos. Sometimes I use it to condense text to a minimum and turn it into a short post. Occasionally, I use it to convert text into informal, simple language. I use it for writing simple scripts, queries, and creating Tailwind mockups for a site or product. It's an invaluable assistant, and I haven't needed to consult official documentation for a while.
ProductHunt. I use it to launch new products. The platform provides good traffic and feedback on the product. I use it to test hypotheses and ideas. You can start discussions and debates on the platform. You can relaunch your product after improvements.
Laravel + React + Inertia + Tailwind. I launch all my projects with this stack. It significantly speeds up the development of a single-page application in React using classic server-side routing. There's no need to develop an API between backend and frontend.
Docker. I'm already launching my fourth product and have created a setup that allows me to deploy a project on any VPS with all the necessary environments in an hour. This also speeds up the deployment of the local environment and development.
Notion. I record everything in Notion. Ideas, short notes, screenshots, articles, plans, schedules, any small details, or remarks.
Beehiiv. I use it to collect emails and plan to use it for newsletters. The tool allows monetization of newsletters, promoting products among subscribers, and buying ad spots in other people's newsletters.
Lemonsqueezy. I use it for quick integration and accepting payments worldwide. It's convenient to create products and set up a store through the UI. There are analytics and an affiliate program where partners can sell your products through their networks for a commission.
GitLab. I use it to store projects, version control, CI/CD, and storing Docker images in the Container Registry. It allows me to quickly deploy a project if I move to another VPS. In the future, it will enable seamless deployment.
