خلال لقائنا الوفد المشترك لتحالفي العزم والسيادة برئاسة الأستاذ مثنى السامرائي رئيس تحالف العزم والأستاذ سالم العيساوي رئيس كتلة السيادة النيابية وبحضور عدد من نواب التحالفين.
جددنا دعوتنا لعقد جلسة لانتخاب رئيس جديد لمجلس النواب، وشددنا على ضرورة توافق المكون السني الكريم على اختيار مرشح للموقع قدر الإمكان، وأهمية أن يتصف بحسن السلوك والمهنية والقدرة على الإدارة والإيمان بالنظام السياسي الجديد.
حمّلنا الجميع مسؤولية الحفاظ على الاستقرار الحالي الذي تشهده البلاد وتحويله إلى استقرار دائم، وبيّنا أن المنجزات ما كانت لتتحقق لولا تضحيات العراقيين من جميع المكونات.
During our meeting with the joint delegation of the Siyada and Azim Alliances, led by Mr. Muthanna al-Samarrai, head of Azim Alliance, and Mr. Salim Al-Essawi, head of Siyada Parliamentary Bloc, alongside several alliance MPs, we reiterated our call for the convening of a session to elect a new Speaker of the Parliament.
We reiterated our call upon the importance of the esteemed Sunni community reaching a consensus on a candidate for the Speaker of Parliament wherever feasible, emphasizing the candidate's need for exemplary conduct, professionalism, managerial aptitude, and belief in the new political system.
We urged all parties to bear the responsibility for maintaining the current stability in the country and ensuring its transition into a lasting one. We underscored that these achievements wouldn't have been attainable without the sacrifices made by Iraqis from all backgrounds.
