نشارك دولة الكويت الشقيقة حكومة وشعبا الحزن أثر حادث الحريق المؤسف الذي اندلع في مبنى للعمال في محافظة الأحمدي وخلف عشرات الضحايا، وإذ نواسي أسرهم، نسأل الله سبحانه أن يحفظ بلادنا وبلاد المسلمين من كل سوء و لاسيما دولة الكويت وشعبها الشقيق.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the government and people of our sister nation, Kuwait, following the tragic fire in a workers' building in Al-Ahmadi Governorate that resulted in numerous casualties. As we offer our sympathies to the affected families, we pray to Allah Almighty to safeguard our countries and the Muslim world from all harm, particularly the State of Kuwait and its people.

2024-06-12 09:30:22 في اليوم العالمي لمكافحة عمل الأطفال ندعو لتظافر الجهود الحكومية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني والإعلامية وجميع الفعاليات لإنقاذ براعم الوطن من شبح الفقر والحرمان ومعالجة ابتعاد كثير منهم عن أجواء الطفولة والمدرسة وانتشالهم من مرامي عصابات الجريمة المنظمة، كما ونحث على استثمار المناسبة لوضع خطط علمية رصينة وعاجلة من خلال التواصل مع المنظمات العالمية المعنية كاليونيسيف وغيرها للنهوض بواقع الطفل اجتماعيا ومعيشيا وتعليميا تمهيدا لبناء جيل واعد يأخذ على عاتقه مهمة بناء الوطن، ونؤكد أن أي عملية إصلاحية لمعالجة الظواهر السلبية في المجتمعات ومنها ظاهرة عمالة الأطفال وتعنيفهم بشكل عام بحاجة إلى ثلاثية (التشخيص و المعالجة و التراكم).

On World Day Against Child Labor, we urge the government, civil society organizations, media, and all stakeholders to join forces to save the young members of our nation from poverty and deprivation. We must address the issue of many children missing out on their childhood and education, and rescue them from the clutches of organized crime gangs. We also encourage using this occasion to create strong and urgent plans through collaboration with global organizations like UNICEF to improve the social, living, and educational conditions of children. This will help build a promising generation ready to take on the task of nation-building. We emphasize that any reform to address negative societal issues, such as child labor and abuse, requires a three-pronged approach: diagnosis, treatment, and accumulation.

2024-06-12 09:00:23 في ذكراها العاشرة، ما زالت فتوى الجهاد الدفاعي للإمام السيد السيستاني (دام ظله الوارف) تحيي في النفوس الوطنية الغيورة فصول تلك اللحظة التأريخية ذات الأثر المباشر على بث الروح في النفوس وقلب المعادلة على الإرهاب تمهيدا لدحره وإنهاء صفحته السوداء من ربوع الوطن، وبالإضافة إلى جانبها الإنساني في مد يد العون للنازحين وحمايتهم،  كان لها دور ميداني عسكري كبير في إرباك مخططات الإرهاب ورفع المعنويات وتعبئة الأمة وإجهاض المشروع الداعشي الظلامي، لتبرهن استجابة أبناء شعبنا لها مدى ارتباطه الوثيق بمرجعيته في القضايا المصيرية والخطيرة والحساسة ، وقدرته على صنع ملحمة النصر حيث فاجأ العالم بسرعة تحرير أرضه رغم التضحيات الجسيمة التي قدمها، كما أن لتلك الفتوى الخالدة ثمرة وطنية أخرى تمثلت بتشكيل الحشد الشعبي الذي كان الظهير والمساند لباقي صنوف قواتنا الأمنية الباسلة لتختلط الدماء والتضحيات وتسهم بدحر الإرهاب وكسر شوكته، وهنا نؤكد أن ما ننعم به اليوم نتيجة لتلك التضحيات، ما يتطلب الحفاظ على هذا المنجز الأمني وإدامة الاستقرار وتعضيده وتحويله لاستقرار دائم.

On its tenth anniversary, Imam Sayyid Al-Sistani's (may he live long) defensive jihad fatwa continues to inspire patriotic fervor, recalling that historic moment that directly revitalized spirits and turned the tide against terrorism, paving the way for its defeat and eradicating its dark chapter from our homeland. Beyond its humanitarian role in aiding and protecting the displaced, the fatwa had a significant military impact, disrupting terrorist plans, boosting morale, mobilizing the nation, and thwarting ISIL’s project of darkness. The response of our people demonstrated their deep connection to their Religious Authority in critical and sensitive matters, showcasing their ability to create a victory saga that astonished the world with the swift liberation of their land, despite the heavy sacrifices made. This enduring fatwa also led to the formation of the Popular Mobilization Forces, which supported and backed our valiant security forces, merging blood and sacrifices to defeat and weaken terrorism. We affirm that the security we enjoy today is a result of those sacrifices, and it is essential to preserve this achievement, maintain stability, and reinforce it to ensure lasting peace.

2024-06-12 08:30:31 عقد من الزمن وما زالت مجزرة سبايكر الأليمة جرحا نازفا وغائرا في ذاكرة وضمير الشعب العراقي وكل أحرار العالم، وما زال منظر ازهاق أرواح الشباب العزل من قبل وحوش الإرهاب الداعشي بعد انتكاسة حزيران 2014 يحز في نفوسنا، ولم تزل كثير من عوائل الشهداء لم تهتدِ إلى جثث أبنائها المغدورين، فكانت مجزرة وحشية نالت نصيبها الوافر من الاستنكار والإدانة حيث اعتبرها فريق التحقيق الأممي من خلال إحاطته إلى مجلس الأمن جريمة حرب طائفية مقيتة، وإن هذا الاعتراف الأممي يستدعي مواصلة الجهود لتدويل الجريمة وتعريف المجتمع الدولي بها، وإكمال التحقيقات ومحاسبة المسؤولين ومحاكمة الفاعلين ومطاردة الهاربين منهم بلا هوادة، فضلا عن تخليد ذكراها الأليمة في المناهج التربوية وتكريم وتعويض ذوي الشهداء.

A decade has passed, yet the painful memory of the Speicher Massacre remains a deep and bleeding wound in the conscience of the Iraqi people and all the free people of the world. The horrific sight of unarmed young men being slaughtered by ISIL terrorists after the June 2014 setback, still haunts us to this very day. Many families of the martyrs are still searching for the bodies of their loved ones. This brutal massacre, widely condemned and denounced, was labeled a heinous sectarian war crime by the UN investigative team in their briefing to the Security Council. This UN acknowledgment calls for continued efforts to internationalize the crime, raise global awareness, complete investigations, hold those responsible accountable, prosecute the perpetrators, and relentlessly pursue those who remain at large. Additionally, it is crucial to commemorate this tragic event in educational curricula and to honor and compensate the families of the martyrs.

2024-06-11 13:09:14 التقينا صباح اليوم رئيس حزب التجمع المدني للإصلاح الدكتور سليم الجبوري، وتداولنا في تطورات المشهد السياسي في العراق والمنطقة والاستحقاقات القادمة، جددنا التأكيد على أهمية حفظ ما تحقق من انجازات كانت بتضحيات العراقيين من جميع المكونات، كذلك شددنا على ضرورة حسم منصب رئيس مجلس النواب، وبيّنا أهمية أن يشغل المنصب شخصية ممثلة لواقعها ومكونها بشكل حقيقي، وتكون شخصية قيادية كفوءة ومؤمنة بالنظام السياسي الجديد.
This morning, we met with Dr. Saleem Al-Jubouri, the head of Al-Tajamou’ Al-Madnani “the Civil Gathering” for Reform Party. We discussed the political developments in Iraq and the region, as well as the upcoming dues. We reiterated the importance of safeguarding the accomplishments achieved through the sacrifices of Iraqis from all communities. We also stressed the need to finalize the appointment of the Speaker of the House. This role must be filled by an individual who genuinely represents their community and reality, and who is a competent, leading figure committed to the new political system.
