Meta has finally unveiled the long-anticipated Llama 3.

•Token count increased from 32K to 128K between #Llama2 and Llama3.
•All models in Llama 3, including the smallest 8B model, now utilize Grouped Query Attention (GQA).
•Context window size expanded to 8192 tokens, up from 4096 in Llama 2 and 2048 in Llama 1.
•Llama 3 was trained on a massive 15 trillion-token dataset, compared to Llama 2's 2 trillion tokens.
•Openly available pre-trained and fine-tuned models include 8B and 70B parameter variants.
