A Voice from Another World trapped inside a crystal sphere.
He was last seen during the war of the three kingdoms.
He made predictions that always came true and nothing could change them. The crystal constantly passed from hand to hand until his new overwhelmingly upset owner threw him into the river.
That was where the story would have ended if the village boy had not found the sphere in the swamp yesterday.
He brought a shiny piece to the market in the hope of getting a couple of coins for it.
But suddenly the crystal started to shout from the rooftops!
- Rangers will be weakened several times;
- Forays will no longer be the same;
- Sentinel and Knight synergies will be revealed.
- Feature vote is enabled now.

Guilds - the piracy is finished once and for, all guilds signed eternal truce and started gardening.
He - is back!

The information is without a doubt reliable and verified on the first day of the second month of spring every year.

Golems are scary, that's no joke. But! Plumbing, groceries, and all that jazz are dragging our corporate drones back to their posh villas. And so they have summoned a few talented bureaucracymancers to fabricate a perfect expedition report, which satisfied their top management.

Well, the mini-factories are still missing, but seems like locals somehow managed to deal with them by themselves.

The Island and its government is not a big fan of sharing their secrets and innovative technology, so one can be certain that all boxes and chests originating from islanders are having self-destruction devices of some sort. We have some feeling that boxes will evaporate as soon as those drones will hit the road and that chests will follow their fate within a month tops.


It appears that we have 3-4 days at most before the islanders' camp disembarks. Open / Comment

2020-12-29 21:16:15 Meanwhile in the distant lands far from the Seven Kingdoms

During the festive season, Factorial Island always works at its maximum and this year is no exception. Every workshop is loaded to full capacity, but even that is not enough to burn through a massive backlog of orders. Gifts, presents, billions of them, as if someone decided to build a castle or block a river using gifts. And all of them should be produced in time.

Nobody had a single note of suspicion when one effective manager decided to use an untested experimental model of golems to amplify production rates. And of course, it was too late to ring the bells when golems rebelled and fled the island, stealing golem producing mini-factories.

The Department of the Frozen Flame has put the blame on the Department of the Burning Ice nearly at the same time as the leaders of the Burning Ice have put forward identical charges against the Frozen Flame, and so shit hit the fan badly.
This bureaucratic quarrel could have gone on for a while, but on top of all misfortunes, it was discovered that a large batch of fuel cells designed for a new golem model went missing. This amplified the issue to a catastrophic level, so both Departments had to move their expedition camps in search of missing items.

Back in our lands, one can locate a Frozen Flame camp on the south side of the Silent Mountain /ny_flame_camp, whilst the north side is occupied by the guys from the Burning Ice /ny_ice_camp. Undoubtedly, should you happen to find any of the fuel cells or gears they are so vigorously seeking, these gentlemen would be glad to trade them for some valuable goods.

And whilst both Departments put much emphasis on how they are different from each other, for an outsider they look and act absolutely identical. But probably don't mention that near them. Open / Comment

There is a tavern in the woods, equally far from all castles.
It is protected by a fence that helped a lot of times.
Visitors like to write on it from time to time.
We found a note with the message: "There are not enough cups for castle battles celebrations! Especially for the large ones."

Little do we know about the final destination of the aforementioned noble man, but what we do know is what porters were in charge of his luggage. And for our great pleasure one of those porters has a photographic memory and pried into Blandleafs notes. Thank Gods of Seven Kingdoms that our espionage discipline developed in such a way, that even a mere porter from time to time is both intelligence and counterintelligence agent, depending on who would pay more. Being such a smart cookie, our guy decided to earn some fortune by using obtained KNOWLEDGE in his own secret lab. What a mistake. Among remains of his 'secret lab' we found something interesting:

... According to Blandleafs belief, there are three main alchemy schools, such as apothecary, dreamweaving and his own personal blandleafury school.
... Advanced alchemy requires personal treatment. One should carefully examine their customer, discuss current weather and other extremely important universal aspects. During this process alchemist fine tunes his technique to brew something that exactly matches customer needs. On the plus side, customer is happy to get such powerful cookery, but there is a catch. Anyone else is unlikely to tolerate this concoction, so there is no point even trying to sell it at the market.
... Alchemist even proposes to soak equipment and weapon in large jars, like some kind of pickle. That sounds like a delusion of an old man, but who are we to judge?

We are all in deep grief about that young (or maybe old, who cares?) man who couldn't make it, but there were more porters, so there is always a chance to recover some more knowledge. Open / Comment

2020-09-02 23:30:04 Libra season and a dear farewell to Dr. Blandleaf

Recent crop harvest has brought some unexpected surprises upon us. No, it's not a drought, locust swarm or allies of neighbouring kingdoms, who accidentally poisoned our fertile fields.
It's just that the nature had enough of this and decided to remind us who is the boss around here.
Herbs started to change. Not an obvious change to spot though, same scent, same colour, same taste. But the key properties required for production of advanced potions are not the same anymore...

The famous alchemist, Dr. Blandleaf was not impressed with this and decided to leave the lands of the Seven Kingdoms just as unexpectedly and abruptly as he arrived.

He said we shouldn't worry though, he was the only one doing proper alchemy, hence we won't notice any differences in our common breweries and popular recipes...

And by the way he left some teaching notes of some sort. We'll publish them, once we understand their meaning. And for now, it's really nothing to worry about! Keep exploring and making new passages, it's Libra season! Open / Comment
