Well, as many of us already suspected, our little friend is just a lunatic. Someone even connected all the maps together, thus having a proof, but we didn't listen to him. All and all, as we came out of the woods, we saw a familiar old road leading back to castles, right to the point where all of it began. It appears that we were running in circles. Sigh.
