Patrick Grady, the SNP MP for North Glasgow, was found guilty by an independent Westminster committee of making unwanted sexual advances towards a young SNP staffer. Yet his only punishment appears to be a possible two day suspension from parliament.
The SNP have taken no action against him. Quite the opposite, it appears, with the victim, who still works for the SNP, reporting that he has been ostracised by SNP MPs, MSPs and staff for making the complaint. He says that the SNP have been more interested in protecting Grady than anything else.
These are the people that run our country. Politicians who are prepared to protect a sex pest and let him carry on in office. What else are the SNP covering up, one has to wonder. The people of Scotland deserve better than the SNP.
