There were almost 10 TIMES more victims of human trafficking in the UK in 2020 compared to 2012, according to a report from a Council of Europe watchdog, and Brexit rules are making them avoid reporting treatment to authorities.

The Group of Experts on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings (GRETA) calculated there were 10,613 possible victims last year (inc 4,946 kids), but due to fears of stricter deportation regs, many victims are keeping silent.

A Home Office spox insisted the UK “has led the world in protecting victims of modern slavery”, despite immigration reforms allowing the UK to deport those who successfully apply for asylum if their border entry was deemed illegal.

Russia’s Defense Ministry confirmed Wednesday that two American strategic bombers were escorted away from Russian airspace over the Black Sea on Tuesday.

Two supersonic b-1B bombers and 2 KC-135 tanker aircraft were escorted away according to international airspace rules, the Ministry statement said.
