2022-05-31 08:42:47 The Russian people continue heavily backing the military operation in #Ukraine notwithstanding their political affiliations, two recent polls find.

According to VCIOM study, an overall 72% of the Russians support the operation.

The other poll showed cross-party consensus in support of the President Putin actions in Ukraine. Supporters of the ‘United Russia’ and LDPR lead the pack with 85% of the respondents being in favor of the operation. The situation isn’t that overwhelming with those who vote for the Communist Party or the ‘New People’, but still significantly pro-operation - 68% and 57% respectively.

The national currency has strengthened way beyond the levels projected in the annual budget, thus threatening the balance.

The procedure would be the same as for those from Donetsk and Luhansk.

There’ve been reports that Kherson and Zaporozhie don’t consider an independent status, willing to join the Russian Federation.
