IMPORTANT GUIDELINES ON SHIVYOG DURGA SAPTASHATI SADHANA,EVERYONE PLEASE READ TILL THE END : There are few important pointers with regards to shivyog durga saptashati sadhana that every person doing reciting durga saptashati should remember & implement every time he/she recites durga saptashati. I gathered these 10 important pointers on Durga saptashati sadhana based on my research and after talking to few senior shivyog sadhaks & I am posting this message here for the benefit of all. Feel free to post your views if you feel that there is something here that is incorrect.
1)Always keep durga saptashati book covered in a clean red cloth piece in your puja temple at home,the durga saptashati book should not touch the ground,do not touch the durga saptashati book with dirty hands,do not do any pen markings in the durga saptashati book only use pencil for this
2)You should always have babaji's photo & maa durga's photo kept in your puja temple at home & before starting durga saptashati light 2 agarbattis or ghee diya in front of maa durga's photo & thank Babaji for this divine sadhana that he has given us
3)Durga saptashati can be done anytime daily but it is best to avoid doing it very late in the night,the best time to do Durga saptashati is in the morning after taking a bath
4)Although no specific direction has been specified in Durga saptashati one shivyog sadhak told me that you should face east direction when doing durga saptashati
5)Total respect & gratitude towards maa Durga is very important in durga saptashati sadhana,pray to maa Durga after reciting Durga saptashati
6)Use a red colour woolen aasan & sit on it when doing reciting Durga saptashati,if you do not get a red colour woolen aasan then buy any white or yellow colour woolen aasan & on it you can keep a piece of separate big red cloth & then sit on it
7)Correct pronunciation of mantras & following correct steps in durga saptashati is very important for this it is advisable that person can listen to durga saptashati audio cd by Babaji as many times as possible looking into Durga saptashati book at the same time to understand the steps & mantra pronunciation correctly as done by Babaji
8)Durga saptashati should be done in a loud audible volume with total concentration,do not get up or talk to anyone in between when reciting Durga saptashati. Before sitting for Durga saptashati wash hands feet face with water & gargle your mouth
