Price has now made a retracement back down to the 1.40 previous resistance, now confirmed as new support level. Now that this level is officially broken, we are now open to further levels above, like the high we just made and previous higher high in the channel. However, with USD Retail Sales news coming up, depending on the data outcome, we could either see price dump back towards support or push higher.

Price is now approaching the channel’s bottom and creating the next higher low in this channel. Look out for price to reject this ascending trend line and continue the long-term trend. USD Retail Sales news tomorrow could possibly push price lower if it comes out better than expected, so it’s possible we’ll get a full touch of the trend line.

Price has now touched the ascending trend line in this ascending triangle chart pattern and is already making a rejection to the trend line. It’s possible we could still see price touch the channel’s bottom before price makes completes the chart pattern, however I’m now long on this pair and looking for price to now break through the 79.2 resistance.

GU sank after good news on both currencies reported today. Price could be experiencing a retracement on the 4H chart and setting up to hit support around 1.4000s.
