Almost all of society, including law enforcement and "Healthcare", are built on a hierarchy. When you look at what's going on and wonder how could police officers go along with this and comply, why are doctors and nurses going along with this? Most of them are just following orders and completely disassociated with the consequences of their actions, this is no excuse, but still true. We do it to ourselves too. We all need to step back, evaluate our actions and the consequences of them, and decide if the decisions we're making are hurting others, or hurting ourselves, or if we're doing good in the world. Don't just submit to blind obedience, from the media, from the doctor, from the governor, or the president, or even from your religious leaders.
