Travelogue Uzbekistan:
BooksBooks are a symbol of culture, of education and of knowledge itself. Everywhere in the world. But in Uzbekistan they are so much respected that they may seem unreachably far away, like from another world that has nothing to do with our daily life. What makes this issue so
awkward?
Free LibrariesThat beautiful idea of providing books to the public. Sadly it doesn’t work quite so well because the idea doesn’t come from the public but seems to be some policy thing.
”I like reading books”Ask someone what their hobby is and you’ll often hear that this someone likes “reading books” rather than just “reading”. Do you believe it?
TextbooksTeachers often insist on using textbooks page by page. It makes their job easier and is the best way to make students hate books.

IELTS DOs & DON’Ts:
Speaking The Speaking part is a mixture of dialogues and monologues.
DON’T develop a habit of speaking in uninterrupted monologues. Yes you need to speak uninterruptedly for 1-2 minutes in Part 2 but compared to the rest of the exam this is a smaller part.
DO make speaking communicative. It’s not that different from your mother tongue actually. When you talk to other people you don’t just keep talking about yourself for several minutes. You take turns naturally. Got no environment? Find crazy friends to practice with you!

Not too bad but not really good!
Get
what out of your nose?
Snot is the right word. Not a beautiful word but correct.
Goo is an ugly but slightly funny word to describe any sticky substance,
slime is sticky but more liquid,
filth is bad word for
dirt.
Do
what with your nose?
Blow is the right word. When you make a loud noise to clear your nose then you
blow your nose.
Clean is almost right but could also mean that you’re just cleaning your nose on the outside. When you
sneeze it’s not that you want to sneeze but you can’t help it.
Wiping is cleaning a surface; you can’t wipe the inside of your nose.
