Monument de L'Independance.

This beautiful structure known as the Monument de L'Independance, is located in Lomé, the capital city of Togo. It was built as a tribute to Togo’s independence from France on April 27, 1960. The massive structure has a human silhouette carved into it and is surrounded by palm trees, manicured lawns and fountains.
