Today in "How to convert your boomer relatives to Nazism": this quote from Adolf Hitler's second book: "The American Union is the state in which at the present time most inventions are being made by far.... Americans, as a young, racially select people.... One can... little equate the accomplishment of one thousand racially questionable Europeans to the capacity of one thousand racially highly valuable Americans." The entire argument reads like a racist-supremacist formulation of what we were all told in high school history class about American exceptionalism. Hitler "yes, Americans are superior. We need to breed Germans to be better if we want to rule the world." Utterly reasonable.
