Chris Cantwell has such an underlying humility and a humanity, I hope it counts for something with the jury. Karen Dunn came across today as completely inhuman. Even Richard Spencer, who often comes off as arrogant and aloof, came through with a basic human vulnerability this afternoon.

Regardless of what you think of any of the major defendants, whatever their past failings and weaknesses of character, they are almost all better people than the lawyers on the other side, or their clients.

One side of this fight includes the flawed, the irresponsible and the incompetent----the other side is pure evil. This is why it's been impossible to stand off from this trial and feign disinterest.
