Uganda: Govt Passes Law That Hands Life Sentence for Sale of Body Parts
‍[Nairobi News] Uganda has passed a bill that criminalizes human sacrifice while prescribing life sentences on conviction for related offenses.
The Prevention and Prohibition of Human Sacrifices Bill, 2020 prescribes a death sentence for any person found guilty of committing human sacrifice or financing the practice.
The Bill was brought to Parliament by Hon. Bernard Atiku and generated undivided support from Members of Parliament.
