well, well. Friend of mine, pro vaxx, vaxxed, got sinusitis, he thought. Then he started shitting blood. Not good. Went to GP, turns out he needs a blood transfusion because he's now anemic... Same guy who dismissed my worries with "oh, you've seen some youtube video..." Schadenfreude here.

His status: "Six weeks ago I got sick with what seemed sinusitis after a visit to the sauna. Later on that turned out to be something else, as the people I went with also got sick. So far we still don't know what it was exactly. After a week it seemed like I got better, and then I got really, really sick. Bloody diarrhoea for more than two weeks really took it out of me, and my energy was seriously depleted.
I asked my GP if I could come by, but it was too busy for a visit. I then requested a blood test instead, but they decided that I should just stick it out for another week. I finally had that test yesterday, and this morning my GP called and told me to check in with the hospital right that morning.
Turns out that I was/am seriously anemic, and that I needed to get a transfusion ASAP. I was actually feeling better than the past weeks, though of course that was compared to feeling seriously shitty the past weeks.
So now I'm here at the hospital, getting four bags of blood. They did a full check up on me, and based on that they made a treatment plan. In the near future they will check my heart thoroughly, and will also do a thorough gastrointestinal examination.
Long story short: I'm in good hands now, but things were definitely not alright. I will probably feel much better tomorrow, and we will see what the future brings."
