On my first day at IDEA, I was very excited and happy to be a part of the team. Everything was new to me. The team was very helpful and supportive, by showing all their processes and programs used for work efficiency. I was amazed by how much work is needed to implement all the projects at the NGO. Since I started working with the main accountant, I learnt a lot about necessary documents and other processes for project implementation. These processes are complicated and interesting at the same time, and I am sure that they will be extremely useful for my own projects in the future as well. In addition, I also started engaging in marketing strategies of IDEA by being a part of new videos and photos for their social media channels. This experience is definitely helping me to become more open and social. IDEA’s employees were sharing their thoughts that with the presence of new interns their team became more vivid and active. I am extremely motivated by this and looking forward to the rest of my internship.
