How to turn off location services on an Android:
Open the Settings app;
Tap “Connections” or “Privacy”;
Choose “Location”;
Toggle the switch to off.
How to disable location tracking on Google (insurance that none of your devices, Android or otherwise, are tracked):
Go to your Google Account.
Click “Data and Personalization” from the menu on the left.
Select “My Activity” “Location Services”
Toggle the switch off.
