In the near future Apple iPhone can be used as a real payment terminal
Apple has introduced the
Tap to Pay technology for accepting payments via
iPhone smartphones.Apple's smartphones, starting with the XS model, can be used for payment at points of sale, where there are no payment terminals for payments between buyers and sellers. With
Tap to Pay, iPhones accept payments from
Apple Pay-enabled gadgets (
such as the Apple Watch) and contactless bank cards.
