AREWA STRIVERS — Telegram Channel

AREWA STRIVERS bills itself as a "Blockchain Learning Centre" for airdrops, mining, farming, DeFi and general crypto, but almost none of that framing shows up as tutorials. The bulk of the recent posting is genuine market commentary written mostly in Hausa: a detailed account of a Sandbox ($SAND) exploit where attackers minted roughly 49 billion tokens and the team responded by pausing bridges and isolating liquidity pools on BSC and Base, a running note on a memecoin called EYE bonding on Ansem's launchpad to a $5.6M market cap with the poster's own entry/exit reasoning attached, and short reflections on trading discipline ("I'd rather exit early and protect my capital than chase the top"). Posting is frequent — clustered days with several posts followed by quieter stretches, averaging roughly two posts a day over the last week of the sample.

Mixed into that commentary is a steady stream of unrelated promotion: a referral push for the MEXC exchange's deposit-and-trade bonus, a full pitch for the JustMarkets forex broker with a bullet list of its features, and posts with no crypto content at all — a Google One free-year offer for students, a note about a new Lamborghini model, and a mention of an upcoming Netflix documentary on the FTX collapse. None of these are labeled as ads, and they sit in the same feed as the market analysis without distinction.

What the channel does well is real-time, specific reaction to actual crypto events — naming the exploited token, the exploit size, the exchanges affected, and a launchpad token's price trajectory with the poster's own reasoning rather than generic hype. What undercuts it is the ratio: roughly half of the sampled posts are either broker or exchange referral ads or content with nothing to do with crypto at all, which sits awkwardly against a channel description promising education. It's also worth flagging for an English-reading audience specifically: most substantive posts are written in Hausa, so the channel serves that language community first and foremost.

This fits a Hausa-speaking crypto trader who wants fast, informal reaction to market events and memecoin launches and doesn't mind wading through exchange and broker referral posts to get it. It does not fit someone expecting the structured "learning centre" the description promises, or anyone who needs the content in English.
