For those of you running 5.56mm NATO, these are my preferred mags. They're durable, grip well, interface perfectly with most magazine pouches, and they also fit 32 rounds into the same space as a standard 30-rd mag.
Let's say you patrol with a 6- magazine loadout for your rifle, plus one more in the weapon: that's a 224-rd combat load without bulking out your carry rig beyond being able to low crawl from prone.
Then let's say you jump on this 12-mag box sale, and keep a spare harness of fully loaded magazines to swap out in about two seconds.
