Now to cover the Kherson and Donbass situation in non-technica | ASB Military News

Now to cover the Kherson and Donbass situation in non-technical terms, today has been a clusterfuck. Both sides can’t really move forward. Minimal gains for Russia and minimal gains for Ukraine, while battles are more and more intense.

Russia can likely withstand the pressure without any major problems, while Ukraine is depleting everything its got in Nikolaev and Odessa. That’s in terms of manpower and hardware— in hopes of breaking through Russian Armed Forces lines of Defense; while that’s a possibility, it’s highly unlikely with Russia having total air superiority over the battlefield.

With that being said, unless this is just a bad, slow day for the Kherson direction: Russia will need to throw more manpower and more aerial bombing onto Ukrainian positions unless it wants to lose more manpower— for no reason.

Every move for each side is costly in terms of personnel losses. While Ukraine is undoubtedly losing a lot more men than Russia and its allies, Russia and the people’s militia forces are also losing men.

From what we know, the losses are mainly concentrated in the ranks of DPR soldiers.

Russia obviously knows what they’re doing better than any of us from the comfort of our couches, playing generals and strategists, but it is obvious they are not even remotely close to using systems, weapons, tactics and the power they could be using— which would minimize losses & get this over with much, much faster.
