2022-09-25 17:02:32 The Russian armed forces prevented attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strike at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (NPP) with eight kamikaze drones, official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov announced on Sunday.
"Attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strike at the territory of the [Zaporozhye] NPP with eight kamikaze drones were prevented. All Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down outside the territory of the nuclear plant," he said.

2022-09-25 11:21:01 Video from early months of the war shows the use of Russian-made kamikaze drones by the parent company Kalashnikov. The Ukrainian troops had no idea the drone was heading towards them, this suggests the Russian kamikaze drones are very quiet on approach which is not common for kamikaze drones. Even Israeli loitering munitions have a characteristic sound that can be heard from at least 2 kilometres away upon approach.

Would be very interesting to get an audio clip of the Kalashnikov group drones in use somewhere down the line.

2022-09-25 11:13:27 A missile strike, assumably from the HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system, has hit a hotel in Kherson, causing casualties, a TASS correspondent reported on Sunday. (Russian state media)

The Ukrainian military attacked the Kherson hotel at 5:30 am, assumably, firing one rocket from the HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system, according to the information provided by a TASS correspondent. Two people were killed, according to preliminary estimates. RT journalists were staying at the hotel.

After this, Odessa Ukrainian Armed Forces headquarters were hit by Russian kamikaze drones.

This was reportedly confirmed by a Ukrainian troop. There’s visual evidence of 2 Kamikaze drones being downed by Ukraine ever since they entered service.

Ukraine claims they down multiple Geran’s a day, but there’s no visual evidence of that.
