What’s the biggest known thing in the Universe?
Meet the BOSS Great Wall! Yes, the name suits it quite well.
Actually, the BOSS was named after the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey—an international effort to map galaxies and quasars in the early universe.

The BOSS is an immense complex comprised of more than 800 galaxies that gravity has corralled into four superclusters, connected by massive filaments of hot gas.

This enormous collection of galaxies is more than one billion light-years across. So when a star is born on one side of the BOSS, it takes a billion years for the light to reach the other side.

The whole thing weighs 10,000 times as much as the Milky Way
