Are there white holes in the universe?
A white hole is a hypothetical region of space-time.
A white hole has mass. It might spin. A ring of dust and gas could gather around the event horizon — the bubble boundary separating the object from the rest of the universe. But a white hole blasts material out into space, instead of pulling material inward.
Basically, a white whole is the reverse of a black hole.
White holes are now completely theoretical mathematical concepts. Although there are physicists out there who think white holes might be more than theoretical.
According to specialists in loop quantum gravity, a black hole singularity could compress down until the smallest possible size. Then it would rebound as a white hole.
Another theory suggests that white holes might explain the Big Bang since this is another situation where a tremendous amount of matter and energy spontaneously appeared.
