The tiny pink dot in the center of this image is a magnetar — a type of neutron star with the most powerful magnetic fields in the Universe. If a magnetar was located a sixth of the way to the Moon (~64,000 km), it would wipe the data from all of the credit cards on Earth! (1/2)
