What if the sun turned into a Black hole...◉ Earth and other planets would continue orbiting, the same way.
◉ Earth would never get pulled by the black hole and wouldn't be torn apart by it's immense gravity. ( Earth would be totally safe. )
◉ But not for humans and animals, Lack of heat and sunlight would turn earth into a frozen planet, which would cause mass extinction around the globe.
◉ Deep sea creatures and organisms would be the only life forms to live on the Earth.

The Day the Dinosaurs Died! A massive asteroid hit the Earth 66 million years ago. The explosive collision rattled the planet and changed its climate. The devastating changes it triggered abruptly wiped out the dinosaurs — and most other living species.
Fifteen hundred kilometers (900 miles) away, an asteroid moving at 50 times the speed of sound has just slammed into the Gulf of Mexico. The space rock is huge — 12 kilometers (7 miles) wide — and white hot. Its splashdown vaporizes a portion of the Gulf’s water and much of the limestone below.

Scientists Have Spotted the Farthest Galaxy Ever - It May Be Home to the Oldest Stars in the Universe Named HD1, the galaxy candidate is some 13.5 billion light-years away and is described on April 7, 2022 in The Astrophysical Journal. In an accompanying paper published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society Letters, scientists have begun to speculate exactly what the galaxy is.

An exoplanet some 1,360 light-years away is so close to its star, its clouds consist of vaporized rock.
Called WASP-178b, it orbits WASP-178, a young, white star twice the mass of the Sun, on an insanely short orbit of just 3.3 days. At that proximity, temperatures on the gaseous world are soaring – so hot that it is classified as an 'ultra-hot jupiter', possibly the most extreme type of exoplanet known till now.
A new study of the weather on this wild world has, for the first time, identified silicon monoxide (SiO) in the atmosphere of an exoplanet.Source

Blue Origin launched its New Shepard suborbital vehicle on its first flight of the year March 31, carrying six people on a brief trip to space and back.
The vehicle lifted off from the company’s Launch Site One in West Texas at 9:59 a.m. Eastern. The capsule landed under parachutes about 10 minutes later after reaching a peak altitude of approximately 107 kilometers. The booster landed on a nearby pad three minute earlier.
The launch was delayed nearly an hour by several countdown holds, including one that lasted more than 45 minutes.
