So the government very quietly and very sneakily, in the middle of the Budget Sitting, extended their Communist Act... I mean, Emergency Powers, until April 2022.

It started off as “flatten the curve”, because everyone was freaking out that there would be mass death.

The impact turned out to be far, far less than the flu.

So “flatten the curve” was declared successful within a month (May 2020).

At the beginning they had detailed exit plans and maps to end the state of emergency, remember?

Now, suddenly, they require no evidence, no plans and not even the public’s consent to extend their powers with no end in sight.

I couldn’t find a single media outlet, government page or politician talking about it.

We tried to warn people. When rulers take away freedom, the only time the people get them back is when they stand up and take them back.

There is no plan to end the state of emergency, because the constant state of emergency gives the government unprecedented power over what you can and cannot do, over your body, over your children, over your movement, over your livihood, over your associations, over the entirety of your life.

This only ends when we take our country back.
