Have you thought about your goals and plans for 2022 or are yo | Australian Sovereignty Alliance

Have you thought about your goals and plans for 2022 or are you stuck in fight or flight mode dealing with stress and anxiety? Stress is the leading cause of disease and death and nor can you think critically or rationally when your mind is overwhelmed. So if this is something you are dealing with, for your own survival it must be your first priority.

Read my article on the war on our health here for ways to deal with stress: https://www.australiansovereigntyalliance.com/post/the-war-on-health

If you’re ready for the next steps, we’re piecing together a page on our website focused on forward action we can individually be taking today: https://www.australiansovereigntyalliance.com/anewresistance

One of my personal goals is to grow enough food to feed my extended family plus some. This means going from someone who has very little knowledge on growing anything at all, to learning to grow a market garden on land that, at this point, is not fertile.

There are so many styles of gardening out there, it can be extremely overwhelming for people getting started (speaking from experience), so we are adding videos to our website as we go and sharing some practical tips along the way. One of the best tips I received from a long time professional is that gardening is full of trial and error, there is no perfect way to get growing, so just get started. Get some books (we have recommendations on our website for this) and start buying heirloom seeds.

One of the absolute best thing you can do, is to tap into your local groups and create a local network of people that can support and help each other out. Check out your local seed saver, permaculture and organic gardening groups.

We also have many avid and professional farmers and gardeners within ASA. They are very busy, as I’m sure we can all appreciate, but eventually we will be able to get their tips and tricks up on the website to empower us all in taking back our control and power over our own food.

My next personal project is building a large raised garden bed for sweet potato and trellised pumpkins. Here are some helpful videos I’ve used to get me started, hopefully they will inspire you too:
