HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO BECOME A PILOT IN CANADA ?
As with length of time to complete the training, how much it will cost will vary student to student. How much commitment and aptitude and whether the student is full-time or part-time are factors that will affect the cost. On average a student at PPFC will spend around $16,000 for their PPL and $23,000 for their CPL.
There is no need to pay full amount fee in advance. Instead, you will be charged by “flight time” following each training session. This is the time from engine start to engine stop. The latest estimated cost of Flight Training at different stages of the Professional Pilot Program can be found at https://proifr.com/professional-training-estimated-cost/. All prices are in Canadian Dollars.
Detailed cost information can be found on each program’s page:

What qualifications do I need to become a pilot?
When you first enrol in flight school, no flying experience is necessary. You are, however, required to have a good understanding of mathematics and physics. After your training, you can apply for the Private Pilot Licence (PPL), the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), or the Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) through Transport Canada. Then the real excitement begins!
